Dish Washer from Africa completes Mansion

This is a short story of a very ambitious gentleman i have met in Las Vegas. I was first impressed by his million dollar smile and his upbeat personality and great energy surrounding him.
He told me of how he came to America several years ago just to get his education but fell in love with the country and decided to pursue his rags to riches dream. The first thing he learned was that time was his greatest asset. He had to make sure that every single moment was significant. He also believed in that humbling oneself goes a long way in solidifying ones character.
His first job was a dishwasher at his college cafeteria while juggling a full academeic load and maintaing a G.P.A of 3.5 and above. He did not turn down that job just because of it involved dish washing, but embraced it as a learning experience.
He saved as much money as he could while paying for college. Graduation came and he got his associates in hotel and restaurant management. You might think that he went and pursued a career in that field but not realy. He relocated to Dallas and after a short stint as a front desk trainer at a reputable restaurant, he grabbed an opportunity to work for a Valet company as a supervisor.
Him bieng a people person, always smiling and bieng attentive enabled him to scrap a few dollars here and there, save and start his dream house back home. Mind you he had enrolled in college again taking an associates in Business as he believed that knowledge is Power.
Business was good, there was a lot of repeat clientelle and he worked seven days , always showing to work on time and treating every client like his personal friend. All of us who have been in the service industry know that all theses traits always translate to more cash.
Surrounding himself with people who were positive in life and wanted to succeed also shaped his character to even better heights. Meanwhile construction on his dream mansion was going on well as he was focussed to finish it.
Alas the moment was here and through hard work, determination and ambition, he had completed his 3600 sqt ft four bedroom four bath house by starting off as a dishwasher, seizing the opportunities in life and turning them to great ideas.
The moral of the story is that if you are a go getter and want to succeed, it is possible. Just go get it and do not let anyone discourage you. If you have a similar story or know anyone with a similar story please share it with us.

MY FIRST MILLION

Yesterday me and my friends were having a few cocktails at one of the bar lounges in Vegas and part of our discussion involved money. The three of us are go getter entrepreneurs and we were wondering what each of us would do if we came across A MILLION DOLLARS!!!
We were all clueless!!!
We are part of the millions of people yearning for that million or millions but clueless to what we would do with it if we got it.
I have embarked on a special project as to how i would utilize my first million and will be blogging it at
www.flosslounge.com
I invite all anyone who is interested in blogging about his or her first million and lets be an inspiration to each other.

Don't Need College to Strike it Rich
A lot of people have wondered whether a college education is a must ingredient for paving way to financial success. Although education is vital , it does not guarantee success in life. Here are a few individuals who are school drop outs but are living in financial bliss. If you know someone in a similar scenario, e mail us his or her story. Lets motivate each other.
David Geffen made it big with Asylum records and Geffen records and currently owns L.A times. Steve Jobs who brought us the iPhone,iMac,iPad never graduated from college. Jack Taylor founded enterprise rent a car and has taken this company to greater heights.Lets not forget Sheldon Adelson who has changed the Las Vegas sky line with resorts such as the Venetian and the Palazzo. Of course there is more people to list but the message is that you don't have to major in business or graduate to make it financially.

DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER

I am currently working on my own clothing label and hope to be at the next MAGIC convention in Las Vegas. I have found my niche and will not take no for an answer. Alot of people are telling me that the apparel market is saturated with all sorts of clothing lines but i will not let that stop me. It will be a difficult road but i will not give up....
